Jennifer O'Leary moved to New York City in October 2017 on the J1 Graduate program in search of her dream career in the Big Apple. Jennifer is an MSc in Marketing Practice graduate of the National University of Ireland, Galway and is from Cork City. Having built her own food product range, food blog and social media consulting business during college she struggled to secure a role in NYC. She is now working for 'This Is Catapult' - a Dublin and NYC based event design and production company in their 19th year of business. She has worked on events with Universal Music Group, The United Nations, DFA, WearingIrish and has many exciting projects still to come. Jennifer will speak on the benefits of hiring J1 students, job hunting in NYC from a J1 graduates perspective, and what This Is Catapult can do in event production and design for members and friends of the IBO.
