A Fordham Center on Religion and Culture Program

Siobhan Fallon Hogan (Saturday Night Live, Seinfeld, Men in Black) is a longtime comedian, actor, and writer for film and stage—and a devout Catholic mom. She draws on all those vocations for her latest feature film, Shelter in Solitude. It’s a heartfelt and heart-breaking story of a down-on-her-luck bar owner in upstate New York who finds work as a guard on death row—and her unlikely friendship with a prisoner scheduled to be executed.

    Watch the trailer here.

Siobhan Fallon Hogan will join the audience after the screening for a conversation on making movies, making people laugh, and making it in Hollywood as a woman—and a person of faith.

Admission is free but space is limited.   Click here to register.

They will share how they curated purpose path careers, achieving personal fulfillment by making an impact in their communities.

    * Jennifer Rothwell: Renowned for her striking colorful prints, multi award winning fashion and textile artist mission is to reignite the Celtic Revival (also known as the Celtic Twilight) of the 19th and 20th centuries in the 21st century. To celebrate Irish artists, folklore, legends and traditions through fashion in a modern and contemporary way which the National Museum of Ireland acknowledged in 2016, by purchasing her designs for their collections. The point of difference in Jennifer's work is her striking use of vibrant color which is reflected in her stunning wearable works of art prints and wall art.
