8th annual - PoetryFest

Our eighth annual PoetryFest brings together a range of top poets and special guests from Ireland and the U.S. for three days of readings, conversations, signings and receptions. Most of the festival weekend is free, but seats must be booked in advance.

Master Class:  ModERIN Choreography 

Thursday, November 10 | 6:30 - 9 PM 
at Pearl Studios, 500 8th Ave., Studio 1206

An in-depth look at the development and expression of ModERIN, Darrah Carr's playful combination of contemporary modern dance and traditional Irish step. Participants will have the opportunity to learn a phrase from Darrah Carr Dance's repertory and experiment with creating and combining their own movements.  

Open to beginner, intermediate, and advanced dancers. Exercises will be adjusted to participants' levels of experience.
