This new quarterly initiative for 2018 provides additional networking events and opportunities for IBO professional women. Inspiring female thought leaders and speakers are selected by the IBO and invited to educate, inspire, and motivate attendees. Participants will have the opportunity to listen to dynamic speakers, network and engage with attendees during these lunch meetings.

This new series is open to IBO members and their guests, including our male members and friends. We happily extend our real business connections and Irish hospitality to all.

Our guest speaker this month is Nuala Murphy, Tech Entrepreneur and CEO of Moment Health www.momenthealth.io a ground-breaking digital solution that offers early intervention for maternal mental health illnesses, and Lean In Belfast Team President/Founder & Regional Leader www.leaninbelfast.com/our-team based in Belfast, Northern Ireland.

Nuala was recently successful in receiving early stage investment to build a team and bring the first consumer and corporate offerings to market.

She is characterized by energy, drive and commitment helping women achieve their ambitions, demonstrated most powerfully through her leadership as part of the global Lean In movement.

She began her career as a marketing executive and progressed rapidly to director level with experience gleaned in manufacturing, health and technology sectors both at home and internationally. Becoming Chartered in 2010 and a fellow of the Chartered Institute of Marketing.

With accolades in 2017 such as Top 40 Under 40 Northern Ireland, Belfast Top 50 Business award and Young Business Ambassador Award …The Irish Times describes Nuala as “rapidly developing a reputation as one of the next generation of female business leaders in the North.”

Nuala is a frequent participant in expert panel line-ups across the corporate sector and avid champion of female health and equality. 2017 saw Nuala host a fireside chat with two of the most influential women in tech; Sheryl Sandberg, COO of Facebook in London and Sarah Friar CFO of Square in her home city Belfast.

Nuala graduated with an honours degree in Applied Languages and Linguistics with French from the University of Manchester Institute of Science and Technology and studied at the prestigious Universite de Geneve followed by a year placement in Sanofi Aventis HQ in Paris.
