We are thrilled to announce that Niall O'Leary has been selected as IBO Grand Marshal for the 2020 NYC St. Patrick's Day Parade. He will be formally installed with his aides at the IBO March Evening Networking Event.
Niall, who runs his own architecture practice, as well as the Niall O'Leary School of Irish Dance, is a long-time member and also former President of the IBO (2010-11).
Our pre-St. Patrick’s Day event will also feature guest speaker Sean Lane, born in New York City and raised in Galway and now the Chair of Saint Patrick’s Day Parade Board.
Lane was awarded an honors Post-Graduate Diploma in Business and a B.A. from the National University of Ireland, Galway. He holds a Certificate in Advanced Financial Planning from New York University, and has earned both the Chartered Financial Analyst and Certified Financial Planner designations. He is a member of the CFA Institute, The New York Society of Securities Analysts, and the Financial Planners Association.
Lane returned to New York in 1993 and worked as a bartender until he secured a job in the financial services industry. He is now a Senior Vice President for a major Wall Street firm.
