KATHRYN BAMBERGER

Kathryn Bamberger is a Senior International Trade Specialist for Empire State Development. She is responsible for assisting Northeastern New York’s manufacturers and service providers with exporting their products outside of the USA. Prior to that, she was the International Trade Specialist with the New York Department of Agriculture and Markets. She managed the New York Pavilion in dozens of national and international trade shows and has led several delegations and trade missions. Ms. Bamberger has also organized a variety of activities to enhance and grow sales such as International Buyer Missions, Trade Show Support, Trade Lead dissemination, Market Research, and more. Prior to her public service, she spent her earlier career in the publishing industry, working with sales and marketing organizations and organizing a wide range of industry exhibitions around the country and around the world.

Ms. Bamberger earned an MBA at Sage Graduate School and a BA in Spanish and Political Science with a concentration in International Relations from St. Lawrence University. Ms. Bamberger has held leadership positions with several community organizations including the Junior League, Red Cross, Race for the Cure, Albany Youth Soccer and in support of Albany City Schools.
