A demonstration of non-directive coaching

Many people know about or have experienced Coaching.  In its purest form, it’s not about advice giving.  Non-directive coaching evokes the wisdom and brilliance of the Coachee so they have the understanding and energy to take inspired ACTION.  Observe Master Certified Coach and IBO member Siobhan Murphy coach new IBO member Lara Nugent.   Notice what’s different in this form of relating.  We will debrief the conversation to capture what you learn.

About Siobhán Murphy

Siobhán Murphy is a Master Certified Coach and “professional gardener” – she grows Leaders - through Executive Coaching, Facilitation and Coaching Skills development in organizations.  She answered the call of her own heart to bring a new form of relating to humanity and helped launch the early Coaching industry (ICF member 326 of now 40,000+ coaches globally.)  When she heard a fellow manager at her first corporate job pray to be able to “just hide out under his desk until he could retire,” she knew she wanted to create more ease, growth, and joy in the workplace. Formerly a Sales Executive at AT&T and a lifelong student of professional and personal development, she brings a wealth of skills, experiences and tools to her clients.  She is the first-born of parents from Castletownbere, County Cork.

About Lara Nugent

Lara Nugent is originally from Tyrone. For the past 17 years she's been an educational leader, trainer, facilitator and teacher. After over 10 years in Dubai, she's decided to move into Learning and Development roles in the corporate world here in New York City.
