Speaker: Jennifer Muldowney

A former Tedx Speaker, now sharing her views on The Glam Reaper Podcast, she is a journalist, author, speaker, and positive advocate for the funeral profession.

Born in Dublin, Ireland, Jennifer Muldowney is an expert Modern Memorial Planner and Chief Celebrant (Master of Ceremonies). She went to college at Dublin City University where she graduated with a Bachelor of Business Studies Degree. 

She has experienced loss, no more than any other. Still, it was this, coupled with her skills and hospitality experience that prompted her to create Farewell Funeral Planners in Ireland in 2010 which later evolved into Muldowney Memorials based in New York City. Her first book – Say Farewell Your Way was released in 2013 and she is currently writing her third book. In 2016 she wowed on stage in her thought provoking TEDx Talk called Grief: As Unique as your Heartbeat. She has become the house facilitator of the New York State Funeral Directors Association Annual Remembrance Service officiating it for the last 3 years.

Her media moniker, The Glam Reaper, given to her by the British Media convey just how much Jennifer stands out from a crowd, especially in the stereotypical dark and often antiquated funeral world.
