About Joseph Gilhooly

Joseph Gilhooly has worked in the local government sector since the 1990's with previous private sector work experience. In the local government sector Joseph has spent many years in finance operations, financial management and corporate governance. Subsequently, Joseph has worked at senior management level in the areas of Planning, Economic and Tourism Development and Regeneration, Community and Cultural services, Infrastructure provision, Environmental Management and has led the initiation, development and delivery of multiannual capital investment programmes.

Joseph's substantive position is Director or Services, Leitrim County Council and is currently Interim Chief Executive of Leitrim County Council.
